Jurassic whatever and something
Watching this now on Amazon, kind of a reunion of the original cast.

Venom
Wasn't impressed, movie drug on way to long, at least the first half. I fell alseep, maybe I'll finish watching the rest of it tonight.

But the first half, for sure, is way to slow of a pace for me. Then second half does pick up the pace with the usual unrealistic action scenes. But then again, who watches sci-fi movies for realism?

Mandalorian series
This is not so much a movie as it is a series, but it's one that feels like a movie. The production is awesome, and sticks to the originally, gritty, Star Wars theme. It follows a lone Mandalorian around, who was tasked in reuniting, not Yoda, but a baby, of Yoda's species, to its home.
But it really has no home to return to, so now the Mandalorian takes care of it as if it's his son.
This is one of the few newer series I can tolerate in that, at least so far, Disney hasn't destroyed it with injecting to many preachy woke moments or scenes or characters, like they have with so many other good movie franchises.
The movie, the scenes, never get dull and is why so easy to sit or lay through whole episodes and lose track of time.

Riddick
Up until now, I've only managed to see bits and pieces of this film over the years, but now watching whole movie on Amazon, and it hasn't disappointed me, even though sure, it's older now, but it still lives up, and I can only imagine how much cutting edge it was, or would of been to me, if I had seen it 10 years ago, or whenever it came out.
I think this is his best movie, I don't really like him in the Fast and Furious franchises.

The Riddick Chronicles
Wow, where has this movie been all my life? I think it came out in 2004? Van Diesel at his best. I like it, only about half way through, but it's full of action and wonderful special effects and scene scapes, even for 2004, better than most effects even of today.

Alien - 1979
This movie, after all these years, still holds up so well, and is far superior to most of the junk put out today. If want a good old fashion, thought provoking scare, than check out 'Alien', the movie. This movie set the standard for many that followed, but sadly that standard has shrank, do to fast food movie production as of late.
