This WW2 Zombie movie kind of fits the backdrop of this blog forum
It's a decent movie, the acting is pretty solid, and the fight scenes pretty brutal.
Movie takes place during WW2, but mainly themed around Germany and Russia, the one side American character didn't fare so well, and they made him seem like a Yankee geezer.
I'm only 50% through the movie, but will say it's themed around the idea of human gene experimentation, and once line in movie even suggests that's what 'bigfoot' was, a gene experimentation gone wrong.
This movie came out in 2017, but again, like most movies now, unless search them out you'll never know they've been released.
But ye, this is a decent kind of zombie movie for a dark cold wintery night or day.

Paranormal Island
This movie here...ahh...50/50 will either scare you are not, it's kind of like 'Saved by the Bell' TV show meets 'The Shining'.
I mean it's one of those movies that if maybe had slightly better budget, could of done better...this movie is just right on the edge of 'OK' and 'Bomb'...but none the less it kind of draws you in a bit, cause again it's like 'Saved By the Bell' meets 'The Shining' horror movie.
Watch and decide for yourself.

It's about time for a scary movie again, just in that mood, that mood to watch people on film suffer more than I am in real life...lets see, what shall we watch tonight??

OK, this is a dumb zombie movie that I haven't even 'tested' out first, so if very dumb, I do apologize
I haven't even screened this movie yet, have no idea if it's any good, starts off feeling more like one of those 'made for TV' type movies of the 90s

Same ole 'white zombies' getting all shot up.......very square script, nothing really original about this cereal box zombie movie, don't waste your time unless just super duper bored. |

Sinister - 2012
This one was OK, I watched all of it over the course of a few days.
I rarely sit through a movie in one sitting anymore, good movies so hard to come buy now that I usually watch them over a few days like a TV series or something.
Reviews are mixed on this one, had no idea it came out way back in 2012.

Afflicted
This realistic frightful movie is for sure worth a watch.
I watched it on Amazon movies.
I don't want to give it away, all I'll say is it's good, scary, realistic, troublesome and effective.
I think they should have like academy awards for those actors who appear in off beat movies like this one.
Not just the actors but the directors and others as well.

Absentia - 2011
It's been a long day, my mind is beat and shot, so will call it a night, but on the way out, or while laying down, will give this movie here a try..Absentia...I guess it came out in 2011, but the preview seemed somewhat decent.
Usually horror movies made back then were still somewhat decent.
It's on Prime video right now and where I'll watch part of it.

I just can't take these posession horror movies anymore, cause they're all the same...some what gal, that older W males lust after, who gets possed by a demon, that then older pudgy W priests come to rescue or 'exercise' the demon out of the female, so so predictable and kind of gross now, actually
It's never a, say, college aged male who's the one who's posessed, no, instead, it's always a 19 year old W woman, who thrashes around on the bed, that then these older pudgy priests come to save.
So gdm predictable, shamelessly predictable now.
All it is is shameless lust, older W males lusting over younger W females, and calling it 'possession'...
I just can't watch that stuff anymore.

Rec 2  Seems lately all the decent horror movies I find are a decade or more old, why is that? Why did people stop making decent horror movies around a decade ago? What changed in the industry? But ye, Rec 2 is a pretty decent older horror movie that doesn't feel so old or dated when watched. Feels more like you're watching one of your own nightmares unfold.
