Going forward, I really don't want a job, unless it's doing something I enjoy. Older now, and tired of going to a job with no future, where you work all year and your checking account still doesn't grow, yet you're suppose to be loyal to company.
At least in the blue-collar work world, you're simply 'meat', disposable meat, and when you spoil, get sick, injured, ect, they toss you aside...so don't feel guilty about leaving any job you're sick of and that you're not fiscally or emotionally prospering from.

The hustle and bustle of truck driving, is one you really have to love, to be all into it, cause it requires a lot from you, will drain you, ruin you, destroy you, if not careful. I've given a lot of my adult life to trucking over the decades, and for what? In the end, still living check to check, regardless of all the promises. Sure though, some of it my fault for not being more careful with my future, or for not investing properly, for not educating myself better, for not taking my future more seriously.
But trucking always promises the big pay checks, so you just figure you'll save money regardless, but not the case. Unless you set aside money specifically for investments or savings, you will spend it, or someone else will.

I've been unemployed for the last 4+ months, do to school, whatever, and it's been great.
Also cause I had money saved up.
But let me tell you, the idea of going back to being a labor slave is just dreadful to me, totally dreadful. People who think mindless unfulfilling work is good for the soul, have never done so.

It's been so nice to wake up and not have to report to anyone or anywhere. I've worked all my adult life, so yeah, I'm enjoying this period, but I know it won't last....nothing good ever does.

I don't want to be a labor slave going forward or be a slave to rent...so I may have to really downgrade how I live for a while when this period of my life ends...as in living in a used RV...but even then you need a place to park it, and that costs.
I just hope I have enough left over to get some land...I doubt it...

I tell you what, I was against AI at first, but wow, I'm not seeing how AI can put a lot of novices on par with professional artists, and writers and designers and even film makers and script writers.
My mind is changing about AI really quick.
Why should I care about the pros, when they sure as hell kept me locked out and never gave a dam about me.

I don't know about you all, but I know I get sick and tired of traditional applications and resumes, to which I find to be very stiff, narrow and suffocating in as far as allowing you to express to any give future employer who you really are. Trying to describe who you are on one sheet of paper would be like trying to write all the code for a app or video game on that same piece of paper. You just cannot do it. So what if I told you soon, there's coming a service that will allow you to finally stand out from the competition and get not only noticed, but appreciated for the unique talents you bring to the table. And as we all know, talent isn't just limited to a particular skillset, but rather talent also includes your ability to shine, in as far as your personality, your fitness, and yes, even your smile. Coming soon 'Your video resume online'...email or follow on FB for more information.

Lazer SpotWell, if I have to continue to drive, I'd rather work for a company like Lazor spot, who specializes in hauling loads and trailers on lots for customers. This way I earn a decent check, and home daily, and don't even have to leave the city. I'm so sick of traveling, the traffic, etc. But being a yard jock isn't for everyone in that you have to move around a lot more, but that suits my fancy just fine actually. And no log books, awesome. Since spend most time on private lots, no dern DOT log books to fill out, and was told they deal more with OSHA. Anyways, this will probably be my last full weekend off in a very long time. I applied for 2 other jobs, but they took to long to respond so, oh well. Now go get your shine box...
