I'm not your typical driver in that I do believe in staying fit.
If you don't work out you will die a slow death as body begins to break down from years of no physical activity, and if a driver from years of sitting on seat, driving all day, parking, eating, sleeping, driving, stress, eating junk food at truck stops.
It's accumilitive and adds up.
I mean whens the last time you've seen a distance driver that actually had a body like a model?
When's the last time you've seen a trucker who looked like a body builder or cross distance runner?
Hardly never (unless maybe a 9-5 local parcel type driver)
Most big truck drivers, however, just do not look fit, cause they aren't.
Now that I'm home daily I try to workout daily and eat right and boy does it pay good dividends.
Sorry, but a big part of how you feel about yourself, and life going forward, is what you see in mirror everyday.
And if you see a blob staring back in mirror, it's hard to feel motivated about anything...at least for me.
And is why I work out a lot now.
Place looks like a gym, treadmill and all, even have punching bag.
Anyways enough stalling, it's time to work out before I talk myself out of it.
