Sometimes I feel Punk Rocks of old are my lost tribe.
And while creating this post 'If Clowns could have babies' suddenly came to mind, no one else has thought of that or used that before so if hear it anywhere else, like all things that originate on these forums, just know you heard it hear first.
But ye, if clowns could have babies, seems those babies would come out as 1980's Punk Rocks, with all the theatrical wardrobe dress and all, which like a 'clown' is an expression of something deeper.
But I miss punk rocks, they were usually such gentle souls underneath all the surface theatrics, and more honest souls than most, in that like hippies of old, they wore their war paint on the surface instead of hiding it like corporate types do.
I often wonder where they're at now, what did most mature into?, did they trade the glam for a dress, or tie and suite?
I mean obviously as one gets older and must secure a job and all, can't sharrade around in loud paint all the time.
But I just wonder what most evolved into, in order to fit in in the public.
Where ever they went I sure do miss their presence, they were so brave, at least to me, to be that loud, and not care what others thought, you had to be brave.
Not really into their music, but totally into their self expression.
