Treadmill What more can I say other than dull, boring, bland treadmill hell. Much more to follow.

Right now, about to hit the treadmill and I totally hate and dread it, but put it on 'things to do list'.
I will do equivelent to one lap around track on the treadmill and that's it.
I know I should do more, but been slacking lately, do you know how boring a treadmill is while in a dull hollowed out room that echoes?
It's like torture, but must be done.
I'd rather go walk around the park or something, or if lived in decent neighborhood just go walking outside around a few city blocks.
But do that now, where I live, and people think you're looking for romance or something, as such I'm stuck using this boring treadmill, not the treadmills fault that I think it's so boring.

Continued from above
I'm done already, did equivilent of half a mile, I guess, may as well of been 10 miles.
I'm not in bad shape, but for sure not in athlete shape either.
It's torture to stay in shape after a certain age.
When younger you didn't have to workout, and just seemed in shape naturally, then when reach a certain age, seems unless you work out, you're doomed.
Depends on body type also, I do remember in high school, even middle or elementary school, certain classmates of mine were already naturally fat and or chunky, some grew out of it, others did not, last I saw anyways.
I have the body type where visually to another I look healthy, but internally, not always in best of shape.
It's the heart that matters, everything else is just for show, but if hearts not in shape, nothing else matters.
Drinking, smoking, chewing tobacco also probably, and lots of red meat are probably what damage the heart the most, and just lack of cardio exercise.
Anyways, done with treadmill, now onto something else, have sit-ups on 'to do list' as well.

Using the treadmill still sucks
Using the treadmill still sucks, that's for sure, but still glad it's there.
The most I ever do on it is half a mile, every now and then a bit more, but after that, the boredom is just to much.
But I do notice the deeper thought I'm in the quicker the time goes.
And I just fast walk on it while holding on to side bars, I don't trust jogging on it with arms swinging freely, I've just seen to many gifs, and accidents on video of people falling on treadmills.
Sometimes if tension not adjusted properly they can 'stick' for a micro second, but that micro second enough to totally make you fall if not holding onto side bars.

Also, if want to test your balance, try walking on the treadmill with eyes closed and see how quickly you lose all sense of balance.

I used to prefer jogging in the fresh air in the morning. But after moving to another area of the city, it really became dangerous. So I ordered myself a treadmill on treadmillreviewsite.co.uk/jll-s400-review/. I easily cope with boredom as I train to my favorite music and in the morning I do a few miles. But I will be glad of any advice on improving the effectiveness of training on the treadmill from those who have been doing this for a long time since I am completely new to this and am not yet sure if I am changing the rhythm correctly and so on. Thanks.

I used to prefer jogging in the fresh air in the morning. But after moving to another area of the city, it really became dangerous. Nothing beats being outside, jogging, walking, a mixture of both, in the fresh air. I notice when naturally walking, you tend to work way more muscles than when on a static treadmill. Treadmills fine, when freezing outside, but I to prefer the outside open area, and time passes quicker when not always starring at the same wall...

I used to prefer jogging in the fresh air in the morning. But after moving to another area of the city, it really became dangerous. Also I understand 'Urban exercise environment'. People can interpit ones early morning or late evening walk or jog in ways most sane normal people wouldn't. Also, lot's of crime in certain 'areas of any city', so say jogging, fast walking, and crime just committed and just happen to be in area, and here come the cops rolling up, now a suspect until prove otherwise. Yep, taking a walk in the ghetto or 'hood areas', not as simple as some suburban House wife or Dad or anyone, walking or jogging or biking on some city asphalt laid out bike path. I've been in all and both environments.

About to hit the treadmill
I actually feel like I'd rather be waterboarded than get on that treadmill, and that probably means I do actually need to get on it, cause to me a part of being fit is being enthused.
Feeling sluggish is not being fit, and right now feel sluggish.
I mainly workout when at work, while waiting around for this or that, feels better then, out in the open, can show off.
But when working out at home, it's like you're inside a prison, or dungeon.
Anyways, let me get started, get the blood flowing, I do always feel a bit better after done, it's just the before part that sucks.

Post workout comments
I think the best workouts one can have is to succeed at life, sure physical workouts are apart of that, but nothing spurns eagerness, calorie burning more than being happy and enthused about accomplishing our dreams and goals, and or at least trying.
Life is about hits and misses, maybe one day I'll have a few more hits, than I do misses, but either way, will keep trudging ahead.
Now onto something else, like maybe having a beer...D'oh!
