Had no idea King Kong movies were created after the 2005 version, boy was I wrong
The studios need to do a better job at advertising new releases.

The Island Earth
Nothing really special about this older 60's sci-fi movie, other than how the men spoke.
That confident steady speech pattern...men no longer speak like that, and if trying doing so women seem to get turned of by that type of speech pattern now.
But as a kid, grew up hearing men speak like they do in this movie...made me feel safe...but that era long gone.
Now no man big enough to make me feel safe anymore, but at least in the movies they still make me feel safe and 'small'.

Bad Ben, one of the less than stellar movies I've actually felt like watching over again
This movie may or may not freak you out, depends on your own mental, inner mind, creativity and imagination.

Bad Ben 'The House'
I use to think I'd want to live in a large house like the one in this movie, but after seeing the interior, the house feels more like a enclosed stuffy cave.
Not enough light is allowed to get into the interior of that house, I mean like during the day if lights go out in that home it would be like a cave.
And all the carpeting, heck no, I can only imagine all the odors that would be trapped in a multi level house like that with carpets everywhere, except I think the living room, it had hardwood floors.
But to me, the house in this movie, aside from the plot or it being haunted, just seems like a gigantic cave, musty smelling cave.
And just filled with way to much junk, way to much linen.
If I could design a house, I'd almost want the roof tops to be glass or 'brick glass', just to let the light in.
And I'd want large glass windows in the halls, just to give place a larger feel.
The hallways in this house feel like caves or tunnels.

The Road - 2009
This is a good movie, but very gloom filled.
It totally fits the back drop of this forum blog forum.
I watched it long ago on Netflix, just watched it again on Amazon, not sure why, not sure why I expected the movie to be less gloomy this time cause I was wrong, this movie is just as gloomy this time as it was when watched a few years ago.

I find you can get just as good of movies on old fashion antenna TV as you can on Netflix/Amazon/ whatever
I mean think about it, I have Amazon, and so many of their movies are like recycled Walmart bin movies I bought years ago, but now can't watch cause new computer doesn't have DVD, or have to download the software, and that can be risky.
Now I wish I hadn't sold all my, what I thought were outdated, DVD players at the flea market, wish I had kept them now, cause all these streaming companies doing is making us pay for like movies that are 20 years + old.

The Last Legion
(may or may not show, if not I'll post the trailer)
This is a pretty good movie so far, has a really good flow to it, came out years ago, but just started watching it for the first time less than 20 minutes ago.
