This movie 'Escape from New York', really does need to be revisited again
For some reason, this movie still seems solid to me. Ye, it may seem a bit korney, but it's really not. I mean compared to some of today's movies, this movie holds up pretty well.
And, I could see it coming true.

I can't find a decent go to bed movie right now to save my life...watching 'the unkind' right now.
It's OK, movies like this could really trim a lot of unnecessary scenes and dialogue. Just your typical college students spend the night at mansion type of horror movie. They awaken some witch.
It's OK, if you're bored.

It's amazing how when you watch older twilight zone TV episodes, the actors, many who went on to become big stars, don't even seem like they're acting.
I mean they were just that good. Proper expressions, real emotions, you forget they're acting. Then you compare that with today's stiff, heavy line delivery, mechanical acting types in newer shows, and you just wonder what happened?
I mean some shows still get it right, like the Sopranos, and others like that, but most don't. Most acting, whether TV or the movies, it's just stiff, they act way to stiff, which makes their performance unrealistic.
To me, anyone who wants to learn how to perform, character perform properly, then they should watch and study the twilight zone, when Rod Sterling was in charge.

His cast and crew had to get to the point, tell a whole story in 30 minutes or less. The problem with many of today's movies is that they just linger on way to long, and start off way to slow. To me, the longer a movie is, the worse it becomes, unless do it right, and very few directors can do it right...the Godfather being one of the few movies, long movies, that was done right.

Did the Twilight Zone TV show utilize crossdressing males to play women? This is going to sound strange, but I'm watching a episode of the TZ titled 'In his image', and I could swear up and down, the lady playing this one characters fiancé is or was a man. And to me, the dead giveaway is the CHIN. I mean look at the chin, and also look how they're sitting in the car, women don't sit that way, that's how men sit and lay back against seats. And this is not the first episode where I've suspected men playing the roles of women. Am I on to something here that no one else has ever noticed before? Feel free to copy and share the image and study it for yourself.

It sickens me, like another wrote, how seems thugs, whomever that kill historical figures, like Malcolm X, the Kennedy's, Abraham Lincoln, ect, never have anything to offer once they shoot or assassinate person.
Once they shoot or assassinate voice of the people, the assassin has nothing to offer society...talk about dead rot.

Leonardo Dicaprio in their youthful prime What a rags to riches story. I was never really a big fan, not until now and looking 'back'. But while they were in their so called 'prime', I guess I was trying to find self also, and so did not admire them, if anything I was jealous, cry out loud, and wished I could of been as loved and adored as they were when they were in their prime. When I was in my prime I think I scared people...D'oh! Youth is so fleeting folks, you better hang onto it while it's with you, cause it's so fleeting. Today, Leonardo looks nothing like this, we all change, we all grow. But still it's fun to look back, and by looking back at celebrities in their prime we can also look back at ourselves and where we were at that time or during that era.

Unlawful entry (1992)
OK, here's the deal, if you think someone has entered your place, the worst, repeat, the worst thing you can do is go looking for them!
The best thing you can do is plant yourself in one spot, and let them come to you. By you looking for them, they have the advantage, in that they can hear you coming, and pounce. But if you stand still, then you can know exactly where they are, and now you have the element of surprise.
Probably one of the most important things I've ever shared, that will be read by no one..
