It annoys me how on TV every other actor and thier mother want to be cast into a Law Enforcement character, and play hero.

Yet in real lives, how many of them support or supported that retarded defund the police movement?

Actors in Hollywood really showed me just how ugly they are over the last 5 or so years, can barely watch some of them on TV anymore.

I need to watch like a really really scary movie right now, but such is very hard to find.

I need like a rollercoaster ride of a movie, to jolt my emotions.

Maybe if I filmed my own life, that would do it.

What scares me in a movie?

1. Don't be predictable

2. when victims look like ordinary day to day people

3. When plot in movie could actually happen to me. = believability.


Movies that scare me the most are when I feel plot in movie could actually happen to me and also when characters in
movie are believable and you begin to like them.

a. Character development

If don't care for the characters, hard to get scared.

I finally caved and subscribed to Disney +

Ye ye, I know, some don't like the politics there, but hey, they have all the movies I use to so enjoy watching.

Netflix use to have all the movies, now they're on Disney.
There's nothing on Netflix now other than old Walmart bin type of movies I watched on my DVD player a decade ago.

So far I'm enjoying getting caught up on my Star Wars episodes, and soon will get caught up and the Marvel Universe episodes as well.

I just feel like watching a good ole fashion horror movie, like Cujo, from the 70's, before political correctioness was the order of the day

I need a cinematic escape, either Marvel universe or the Star War universe.
I just need something bigger than me, my own life, to watch.

The French Connection



I've never watched this movie from start to finish, but it's on antenna tv right now.

What I do like about it is all the historical background scenes, the older cars, how people dressed, the cafes, the buildings....watching films like this is like a time warp.
It even shows you how minorities or non whites were so marginalized back then in how portrayed in the roles they got to play.
It's history.

Time to close out the night with a movie, probably on Amazon Prime.
I won't waste my time watching a bad movie anymore, but when using a movie to go to sleep to, my standards tend to drop a bit.

The Dark



I don't know, starts off OK, but then gets to bogged down in dialogue.
People want action from horror movies, not long drawn out dialogues.
