According to this Youtube boxer, certain shroons/mushrooms, can cure people from Parkesons disease www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/jake-paul-says-he-s-suffering-memory-loss-slurred-speech-less-than-2-years-into-boxing-career/ar-AARTbIc?ocid=msedgntp I guess by opening up and creating new nero connections in the brain. The sucky thing about truck driving is that you can't do any of that, cause never know how it will come up on a drug screen. So in trucking, and a lot has changed in medicine over the years, and health, but in trucking, you're just expected to eat and sleep, no CBD oil, nothing, nothing that could help you, your health, just eat junk food, cause that's about all there is at travel centers, eat and sleep, and get fat, then die. And they, the trucking industry, wonder why there's such a driver shortage now, I mean who wants to do that anymore? It's a god awful lonely life.

Certain trucking jobs, routes, can feel like solitary confinement, especially if single, single and 'different'
When I first started driving, most drivers were 'rural' types, Western wear types, you'd go to truck stops and there'd be all sorts of western clothing ware or wear for sale, cowboy boots, ect, it took a long time for that to change, now you can find more suburban type clothing at truck stops now that vendors realize it's not just Redneck cowboy types who drive trucks in 2021.
That aside though, it can still be a very lonely lifestyle, even local routes can be lonely, meaning sleep in bed every night type of routes, the days can still be very long in a day cab, and can be worse sometimes, cause when drowsy, can't really sleep in truck with no sleeper. The only people really getting into trucking now or younger Hispanic males, and seeing more females, but still every one's just very solitary, to themselves, truckers aren't very good socializers, not like drivers of old where were all like 'Reed' on Smokey and the Bandit, back when truckers actually did have bigger than life fun personalities, those days are gone, totally gone.
Where I stay it's mainly just Cubans, and they bring a whole different mindset and culture, it's just a race to them, like always in a hurry, there's no culture behind that, it's as if just so glad to be in America where can drive a gigantic truck.
But it's like they're always in a rush, as if trying to make as much money as possible before get sent back to Cuba or elsewhere.
Drivers don't take the time to know each other anymore, to talk, no ones curious about anything anymore, and if so to shy to show it.
And most of the traditional 'White' drivers are now way older, and just like tired and very unhealthy and unkept, as if forgot what 'style' is.
Lot's of black drivers as well, they tend to be 30ish, but again, always on headset, mind is always everywhere except in the moment.
As such it helps create that new 'bland' feeling, cause every drivers off into a different world now, and don't even see each other anymore, look right past one another.
So if a people person, who likes discussions, and hugs, and ect, don't expect to find that in trucking....not today anyways.

I know one thing, and that is movement and activity just makes you feel better, is why can never go back OTR, regardless of the money, and now days, with Amazon, you have certain O/O's or lease purchase types, earning near Doctor money, but they have to spend their lives out on the road, I can't do that, it would kill me, regardless the money, it would kill what's left of my spirit. Cause I know if out there for weeks again, I'd pay just to be home, in place every night, in bed, use my own toilet, bathroom, cook my own food. People take that for granted until can't do it. And all that unhealthy truck stop food, no in store diners like days of old. I'm just at point now if can't figure out how to earn a passive income, I'm just not interested. I don't have anymore 'labor' to give, I mean what's left of my health, I want for me, not 'the road' or for any company, I want what's left of my health for me. Not that I'm in bad health or anything, but am getting older, and with each passing day, that's one day closer to my eventual demise. ---------------------------------- Maybe if in a loving relationship I'd might be motivated to hit hard again, for a year or less, but as a older single person, hell no, the road back then was lonely enough, can't imagine how lonely it is now, with very few using the CB radio anymore and with probably 40-50% of drivers being foreign or speaking spanish, it's just a lonely place out there now. And all the 'road women' are gone, gals don't hang around truck stops no more or truckers, and can you blame them? Most drivers look like slobs now, and totally lack any kind of personality. I mean from a distance, it seems romantic, but in reality you're basically in rush hour traffic 24/7, and when get done, unloaded, good luck finding a place to park, all the truck stops charge now, and the few free spots fill up quick, rest areas fill up quick, especially in the NE. Traffic, tolls, accidents, you're not really free, it's not like you can go where you want, you're constantly being tracked, some trucks have cameras in them that 'watch you' incase something goes wrong, no privacy, gotta deal with stupid drivers who now are as reckless as 4-wheelers. Every morning have to wake up and use public restroom, or public showers at truck stops, forget it, just not my cup of tea anymore.

Not sure how healthy driving is when all day long during ones driving shift, all you're doing is breathing in exhaust fumes of other vehicles.
With windows open or A/C on, no matter, all you're doing is breathing in toxic fumes from other vehicles exhaust, all day long or night long, as long as on the highway, you're breathing in fumes, how can that be healthy?
It's probably why when I get off duty, my skin feels so itchy until I wash down.
I wish I could retire right now, at least from this.

I get home, wind down, finally go to sleep, then wake up in the morning, and my mind and body are like
'Gee wiz, you mean we have to do all of this again?', meaning another long driving shift.
Today is my Friday though, followed by a few days off; but I still have to get through today, which I haven't yet.

But if I were an Eskimo, waking up in Alaska, with winds blowing at 10 degrees, not sure If I'd be anymore thrilled (I wouldn't).
But maybe I'd be more loved, and maybe my whole outlook on life, the cycle of life, would be different.

Actually trying to get some stuff done as of late.
Trying to become a successful Author, trying to possibly create my own side business or businesses, and possibly trying to get a house, tired of paying expensive rent, and if don't get in soon, could be locked out of the housing market here as 'here', where I stay, suddenly everyone wants to flood to this State, area and city, that use to be backwood.
That's how it always works, the lower class, working class of society always live in the cheapest places, then the rich snob, tech class, slush fund class of snobs discover how cheap and wonderful life is 'there', and then they begin to move in, buy up Real Estate, Amazon starts building warehouses, other retail giants follow, prices go up, and soon every day working class people can no longer pay rent or are taxed out of their properties.
I could stay where i live now till I die, actually, but the problem is when paying rent, the prices just keep going up and up and up.
There's nothing saying that they can't raise rent to over 2000 a month in a few more years, so why not get a fixed morgage rate where payments stay the same no matter what.
Rent is such a sham and a scam, if people didn't have to pay rent they, we, could retire much ealier.
Anyways, let me get started on this application on this what feels like a gloomy Sunday to me.

I've got to get my mind ready for today While driving a semi truck may be my main source of income right now, I have plenty of other things going on when I'm off work and not driving. I've registered two other companies, LLC's, and thinking about creating a 'non-profit' organization as well, that costs. I've written two books, working on a 3rd, two published books that is. I mean that right there is a handful, and I've created a seperate normal website, that's work, and more. So when I'm not driving, it's not like I'm just sitting around and drinking like days of old, now I'm always working on some side endevour in hopes that one day I can build a passive income stream. And I'm also trying to buy a house, at my age that would be a Mirical and nice. And I'm pretty much doing all of the above alone, all by myself, cause within my circle, no one is motivated, or maybe they are, but not like I am. But I can't let being alone stop my drive. Cause when you stop, you die, if you stop inspiring, you die, your body simply thinks you're done living. well I'm not done living just as of yet, and still got some fight in me.

Feels like Saturday but it's really Friday cause I had yesterday off, but got to work today.
I don't trust what greed does to man.
If money was devalued, or just done away with, I wonder how much that would affect crime?
I'm sure crimes of lust would still be around, but a bunch of other crimes like robberies and all would drop.
Or maybe not, maybe man would just invent something else to pump up in value other than money.

Just so people know, there will be no trucker strike in America, here's why
The reason why there will be no trucker strike or blockade in the U.S. is cause the majority of truck drivers now are COMPANY drivers, as in Swift, Werner, Knight, JB Hunt, Carrol Fulmer, Boyd flatbed, U.S. Express, Schneider ect and ect.
They're company drivers, and if threaten to strike they'd get fired.
Not only that but today's drivers don't have the same bond with one another as they did 20 years ago.
And many drivers today are Hispanic or from the old Russian block of nations, Cubans, Haitians ect, and each cultural block of drivers have their own culture and don't to much mix with the other.
Truckers today pretty much just see themselves as employees, rather than a brotherhood, like days of old.
You'll find the bulk of independent drivers working at the ports, or even driving for Amazon Prime (semi trucks), maybe cattle haulers, and a few other niche areas of trucking.
But again, the reason why national strike won't happen with drivers is cause the majority are simply company drivers, they don't own their own trucks, and so if fired will be told to leave their trucks and if Over the road, would have to find their own way home...it's not happening folks..
