According to this Youtube boxer, certain shroons/mushrooms, can cure people from Parkesons disease www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/jake-paul-says-he-s-suffering-memory-loss-slurred-speech-less-than-2-years-into-boxing-career/ar-AARTbIc?ocid=msedgntp I guess by opening up and creating new nero connections in the brain. The sucky thing about truck driving is that you can't do any of that, cause never know how it will come up on a drug screen. So in trucking, and a lot has changed in medicine over the years, and health, but in trucking, you're just expected to eat and sleep, no CBD oil, nothing, nothing that could help you, your health, just eat junk food, cause that's about all there is at travel centers, eat and sleep, and get fat, then die. And they, the trucking industry, wonder why there's such a driver shortage now, I mean who wants to do that anymore? It's a god awful lonely life. Proof that the above post was true, according to this article like 60,000 truck drivers flushed out of industry cause they can't either smoke weed or do the CBD oil thing, I mean who wants to live such a dull life these days out in a truck for weeks, alone, can't drink, can't do nothing, just alone on the road. Not even women are out there anymore like days of old. www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/marijuana-testing-for-truck-drivers-is-becoming-a-leading-cause-of-the-growing-national-trucker-shortage-expert-says/ar-AAU888T?ocid=msedgntp According to the above linked article, the driver population is aging out, and the younger guys just don't want to live that lonely OTR life anymore, or ever, then add to that they can't do CBD oil or smoke weed, or drink, is it any wonder so many of newer generation not interested in trucking anymore.

Wasted days and wasted nights
Trucking, or I should say the environment, really sucks, at least if of my vein.
It's the most lonliest, degrading, work environments imaginable.
Even checking in at some 'ports' or hubs, they've replaced human interaction with people over speakers.
So you're already feeling lonely after long trip, and all you get is some faceless box to interact with, no wonder many younger folks can't do this, don't want to drive anymore.
Soon, time allowing, I'll write a book about it all, from a driver stand point.
And if you're into fashion, forget about it, no matter how good you dress, no one will notice, you'll never get complimented, instead instructions will just be spat at you.
park in this slot, then get that trailer, or, BOL number, ect.
If single, and into fashion, looking good, feeling good, and like interacting with others, trucking, at least today's trucking, isn't really for you, it's nothing like yesteryear trucking, back when drivers actually had outstanding personalities and all.
Today's drivers, company drivers, instead are mostly clammy, shy, introverted, foreign, rude, non social ect.
If found another job that paid what mine does, and had same schedule, I'd take it.
My spirits just not into driving anymore, I've given enough of my life to it.
Pay and schedule is what keeps me barely hanging onto this job.

Just so people know, there will be no trucker strike in America, here's why The reason why there will be no trucker strike or blockade in the U.S. is cause the majority of truck drivers now are COMPANY drivers, as in Swift, Werner, Knight, JB Hunt, Carrol Fulmer, Boyd flatbed, U.S. Express, Schneider ect and ect. They're company drivers, and if threaten to strike they'd get fired. Not only that but today's drivers don't have the same bond with one another as they did 20 years ago. And many drivers today are Hispanic or from the old Russian block of nations, Cubans, Haitians ect, and each cultural block of drivers have their own culture and don't to much mix with the other. Truckers today pretty much just see themselves as employees, rather than a brotherhood, like days of old. You'll find the bulk of independent drivers working at the ports, or even driving for Amazon Prime (semi trucks), maybe cattle haulers, and a few other niche areas of trucking. But again, the reason why national strike won't happen with drivers is cause the majority are simply company drivers, they don't own their own trucks, and so if fired will be told to leave their trucks and if Over the road, would have to find their own way home...it's not happening folks.. The above post was spot on! www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/much-hyped-d-c-trucker-rally-turns-out-to-be-a-complete-joke/ar-AAUuaoC?ocid=msedgntp What did I say?? I told you all that today's trucker isn't like the truckers of old, just read the above post. The drivers are mainly company drivers now, and if don't own your own truck you can't just drive it out of route cause they'll cut the fuel card off, and now days maybe they can even remotely cut the engine off, I wouldn't be surprised if they could. Todays trucker is totally introverted and doesn't see themself as being apart of a broader culture of drivers, blacks, Hispanics, Russian block drivers, women drivers, ect, they all stick to themself now, no one is friendly out there anymore. I told you there wouldn't be no trucking strike or blockade.

Sometimes I think long hours of just driving and sitting in a big rig are worse for your health than drinking and smoking combined are.
I just feel so spent, and out of it, when off from work, off from that long driving of just sitting, yet getting stressed out by all the traffic around you.

I think as you age, trucking becomes worse for your health, as do many professions actually, to be fair
I just know that the further I'm removed from the rigors of driving, that whole environment, the stress, the road food, the long hours, that the better I feel.
At home when off, I get plenty of rest, multiple times a day, not like on some trucking jobs where you work one very long shift. and in environment where can't really rest, unless have a sleeper truck.
Long hours are just bad for your health as you age, I mean even Lions spend most of their day sleeping, yet we're expected to stay alert on a job for 10 + hours as if that's a good thing?
Well I tell you what, some changes are going to have to come to my life soon, if I want any kind of longevity after my working years.
I always say that, been saying that, but this time I kind of mean it.
But first have to take away the stress of paying high rent all the time, and will soon, cause once that stress gone, you have the confidence to take other steps to where can have a labor free week, and still earn income.

Stress is really bad for the heart, and driving a semi truck can be very stressful at times.
I notice when I get home, and just after an hour or so, the tension in my heart, or in and around my heart, just goes away.
Or it may just be something else in that environment.
I'm in pretty good shape actually, but when get home, my heart area just always feels funny.
Driving's just not good for my health anymore, I need to make some changes for sure.

Other types of driving doesn't effect me so negatively, say if driving a long time in a car, but there's something about being in a semi truck for long periods of time, stuck in one position, that just effects me negatively now. Maybe the fumes?
I just don't know, or maybe it's mental?
I mean NASCAR guys drive for long periods of time to, but love it, so maybe it's mental.

Many truckers, sadly, forget to workout, both the mind and the body

There's so much more to 'my life', than just being some grungy boring dull truck driver.

Driving semi truck long hours just has a terrible effect on the body I mean it's like one long shift at work, after being off previous 3-4 days, just can totally erase all the physical fitness gains made while off. Add to that the junkish food one tends to eat while out there fueling ect. I think it just gets worse as you age, cause when younger and first started driving, I loved it and it never seemed to effect me physically. But then again I was younger, and mentally in a totally different place, life was still large to me and loved the adventure, absolutely loved it. Sometimes I wish I could hypmotize self, to make self love trucking again. you love trucking, you love trucking, you're young again, life is fun again, you love trucking ye, i wish it were the simple to recondition the mind. But ye, back then, driving didn't seem to bother me one bit, where as now, long hours sitting in truck just drains me, so maybe it has to do with just getting older...or just not enjoying it anymore. In the past driving was way more social, you didn't sit alone in truck for hours alone, instead were always on the C.B radio listening, talking, learning and jiving. Those days are so long gone. If had to do it all over again though, would of never gotten into trucking, or if so would of walked away for good after about 5-6 years, when still some what enjoyed it. I tried, believe me you I tried, but always ended up coming back do to the easy money and at the time simple Otr lifestyle.
