Pay attention drivers when making corner turns.

I've gotta order a new twic card, I haven't been in the sea port in quite a few years, but you just never know when I'll need it again, and it's better to already have your twic card, than to not have it and go through the hassle of trying to get it.
I don't like port life, the lines, the cut throating drivers, the dangers of it all (large stackers, ect) The sea ports are just a hectic place, some worse than others. The one in Savannah, GA is a nightmare if first time entering. You can circle that place for an hour and not know which gate to enter through, and it's just as confusing when trying to leave....not to mention trying to find where contaner is located...what a nightmare.
Anyways, sadly, but expected, nothing is free, not even ordering a replacement card.

Big wow and gee wiz Big wow and gee wiz, I just ordered a replacement twic card...wow, I'm so excited to have had to pay $60.00 for replacement fee....not. I don't even like trucking anymore, but realize that in the future, may still need to truck, and having access to the ports could come in handy...even though I absolutely hate going in and out of ports. It, the ports, are such a stale, stagnet feeling, just metal and iron, and lots of dull dressed and looking blue collar men, many of whom are foreign now. It's just a rag tag enviornment, and lots of older beat up owner operator trucks. But, if need by, for a while, if having access to the ports can help me, why not. But for sure, if I leave this current job, and have to get another driving job, I'll do my best to get a driving job where I don't have to enter the ports, or have hazmat, which I've let lapse. When you have hazmat on your CDL, all you become is a target to DOT, meaning inspection, meaning they're likely to find something wrong with your truck...it's just a hassle.

There's something (maybe a lot of things) about road life and or really long driving shifts, that just destroys your health, your mental health, and eventually your life
The trucking environment can and will destroy your
1. Mental health 2. Physical health 3. Social health and life
Not every driving job will, but some will, for sure.
It all depends on alignment, aligning your interest, passion, knowledge of self, and your own tolerances, with the right trucking job.
The longer the shift, the worse it is for your health.
It's hard for people to stay focused on anything much beyond 8 hours
After 8 hours, your focus begins to wane, and your mood will begin to change. Not sure why companies expect drivers, as stressful as driving can be, to maintain focus for 10-14 hours a day. ----------------------------
Obviously I'm no longer mentally suited for long shifts, haven't been for over 6 years, but found job where I just work 3 long shifts a week, then I'm off, so that's the comprimise I made with self, but even so, at the end of the 3rd day, both my mood and my health have both been altered in a negative way, usually.
Health, because of the damaging food you eat while out there, and or germs and bacteria you get in you while accessing public restrooms, food, doors, spaces, air, and whatever else.
Anyways, enough complaining for now.

I don't know which is worse for your health...
1. drinking beer
2. Long driving shifts where you sit all day, while stressing over traffic, and eating truck stop/travel center food, which is laced with all sorts of preservatives and chemicals and where the food lacks nutrition.
Cause I tell you what, when I come off of my last shift of work, where I'm up for over 17 hours a day, driving, stressing, ect, I feel worse the morning after than if I had just drank some beers.
8 hours is about the maximum time people should be driving and forced to focus on anything...but I know in trucking that would be considered a very short shift.

Not gonna lie, tomorrow seems like hell to me. I have no use, zero use, for tomorrow. To me, tomorrow is a monster. Tomorrow will claim many victims, in many different ways. One day, tomorrow will even claim me, but what can I do about it? Nothing, other than write ahead of time about how much I dread tomorrows

I'm on vacation now, sort of. I took time off to help a relative, the only one that really matters to me anymore. I had to fly across the nation. I don't like flying anymore. All that aside, I dread returning to work. Being off for a week, being in a different environment, around different people, I find it liberating, very much so; and so tohVe to then soon return to the horse whip industry of being a driver, we'll, it's not something I'm looking forward to at all.

Just got in from work, amazing how can be off for over 11 days, and how just one long shift of driving a truck can just destroy both your moral and health.

Before I do anything today, I've gotta get dressed, and go walk, workout, anything, cause I tell you what, the trucking lifestyle will totally destroy your health, if all you do is drive, eat, sit, and sleep...what a express recipy to the grave.
Not giving trucking my health.

Turbo coupling blew apart today, I fixed it myself, or re-attached it, I should say
Was headed to Macon, when heard a 'boom!', thought it was a steer tire, nope, just the turbo coupling coming undone after mechanics fixed it.
Yawn and so what.
