I think boozing just guts your body of all the minerals that actually stabilize your mood and make you feel good. I think boozing, whether beer or hard liquor, just flushes out all the good vitamins and minerals from your body, your brain, your gut, your muscles, your eyes, skin, feet, hands, and is why when drink for days at a time you end up feeling so terrible.
And it's worse when older, cause your body already produces less of everything. Maybe when young, as in under 35, you just don't notice it as much.
Looking back, I used to have way more fun when drinking and drunk, it felt so recreational, and I'd be buzzing for hours, and go out and 'play', ride my bike around or roller blade....not anymore...the streets of today are way way to dangerous, or I should say those in them are.

I think with me, drinking is a self sabotaging act. And not sure why. Why am I afraid to feel good, positive and energized??
It's like I drink, to slow myself down, but why?

Ye, it's like I'm afraid to just feel good, energized and happy, and so I drink to sabotage that feeling.
