weird work day. At home now, but about to leave again soon. The time between last leg of trip and next leg of trip so long, that I came home, rather than sit in truck for hours upon in. If younger, had a life, a social life, than I'd of probably visited a friend, a girlfriend, no telling, but I don't have anyone to visit, so I just came back home. Luckly it happened like this in home terminal, cause if this gap had occurred while out of my home terminal city, I'd of been very uncomfortable sitting in a day cab for 4 hours or more.
I doubt I'll have this job to much longer, hours are diminishing, and rent, and everything else keeps going up. And I don't like this job enough to work extra days to make up for that.
The whole point of me getting older was to work less, not more, especially more on a job I can't stand.
I'll have to make some tough decisions soon, for sure; life, the greed of man, just won't let you stand still and be content.

I may be leaving my job soon, in that they want to implement 'Facial recognition' cameras in cabs of trucks,. and I didn't sign up for that, that's going a bit to far for me. I don't want my personal bio-metrics mined by 3rd parties.
These companies, these tech giants, when they team up with the trucking industry, or other industries, beware.

Just got in from work, have next 4 days off. Have stupid urine test I must take on Monday, then get tire issue resolved. Stupid tire people replaced wrong tire, and kept one with leak on the vehicle...why can't people pay attention to instructions!
I don't know, right now all directions I look in my future are not favorable to me. It's like I'm cursed or something.
Caring, and being a good person, hasn't benefited me at all. This idea that god will bless you if you're good, ahh, whatever.

Truckers refusing to deliver to New York, fact check
1. Only owner operators, meaning truckers who own their own rigs, have their own authority, and or small fleets, can turn down loads to New York.
Company drivers, such as those who work for Swift, Werner Ent, U.S. Express, JB Hunt, and so forth, don't have the liberty to just turn down loads they don't want, if they do, they risk getting fired. How many company drivers are willing to risk getting fired for this New York State/city, boycott over the judges ruling against Trump?
Most of today's company drivers aren't from the Heartland, like days of old; rather many are from the inner city, and or foreign born, Hispanic, ect, and aren't really united over anything, since most don't even use the C.B. radio anymore.

I don't even know if I still have a job, or if so, for how long. I refused to sign 'facial recognition' consent form, that they want to put inside the trucks, so now what??
I didn't sign up for that, to have my bio-metrics shared, examined, sold, and studied to 3rd parties...hell to the no.
They want to bring the same bull sh*t inside the trucks that online, screw that...in cab time is my time. And again, that's not what I originally signed up for, it would be one thing if already there when hired, but it wasn't.
Anyways, life moves on. I kind of need some new challenges anyways, will probably work for some trucker staff firm, like Trillium ect...I'm to old (in my mind) to get perminatly hired to some company anymore...all that career stuff gone now, now, I just want a job to pay my bills with and still leave me enough time and energy to get other stuff done.

Spent bulk of day trying to remember all previous employment. That's a truckers burden, in that when a trucker, they want a 10 year work history, hell, I can't even remember last month, let alone what, who, and whom I worked for 6 years ago.
I did my best though, F it.
Many of the companies I used to work for aren't even in business anymore.
Oh well, preparing to leave current job, so just wanted to get this out of the way so not mentally hampered when filling out new job applications.

Today may have been the last day on this job, if I leave the job, then I'll write more specifically what the job was, and whom for....for journalistic records sake...but ye, I didn't see 'me' on next weeks schedule, and I did tell the Boss that I was unwilling to sign 'facial recognition' waiver.
And, well, it's time for me to leave, cause I'm not making money there anymore, rather just going broke in slow motion.

The thing about trucking is that there's never a shortage of jobs, but as you get older, you do tend to become more pickier over the job you work.
At my age, I'm not thinking about career anymore, rather I'm thinking more along the lines of 'what job schedule can work for me'?
Probably a truck staffing job, is what would work best for me, that would give me some flexibility.
Oh well, we'll see... If I never worked again, I wouldn't really care.

Anyways, another wasted day and wasted night is upon me.
Life though, your own, just doesn't end until it ends, so until then, I say record it.

I may be unemployed now, not sure, cause when looked at schedule, as of now, not on it. How do I feel about that? still have a bit of a hang over, so not sure. But I do know it's time for me to move on.
