Workouts are definitely less fun as you age
Workouts become far less fun as you age, regardless of what you see in TV commercials.
TV commercials, by design, make workouts seem fun and vibrant and glorious, but truth is when alone, not getting paid to workout or be in shape, when a lone and working out, it's not that glorious actually, and can even seem like self punishment.
On TV commercials, the results are near instant, with music, sparkly lights, and definite results.
But when working out alone, in a basement or bedroom, there's none of that...maybe music that you play on your own. And unlike on TV, 5 minutes on treadmill at home can seem like 5 hours, it's like time just stops, the discomfort doesn't, but time seems to.
And still no 'results', you tell yourself.
In real life, results take weeks, months, even years of consistent habits, not one day here, one day there.
Mood workouts will get you no where, other than through whatever mood you're in.
The following posts will get us through some of those moods together.

70% of where use to be a year ago, as far as fitness goes
I've really fallen, as far as fitness goes, I mean I'm still 'good', and fit, as far as the average person is concerned, but as far as measuring self against self, I've fallen a bit, and it's only during this long 'time out' from a job, that notice it.
So I'm taking this time off to get myself back up to physical speed, cause in order to be good to self, I need to be healthy, being healthy makes dealing with everything else easier.
Alcohol is out to, but realize now can't drown self in coffee or could be just as bad or deadly.
To much caffeine stressed the heart just like to much alcohol weakens it.
Oh well, got one more set of curls, and shoulder set to do, then I can relax.

Headaches are not 'normal' for adults, as I just heard on the radio, heck, I'm an adult and I rarely if ever get headaches, now why is that?
Just about everything you get is food related, what are 'you' eating, what's in your diet that's causing the headaches?
Meat, or the stuff they put into meat? Milk?, diary?
Headaches don't just create themselves for no reason, rather it's your brain, or blood in vein cells, reacting to something...just figure out what that something is.

One thing I do for 'general health' is 'write'.
Writing is the cure for much, but most people don't know how to write for 'self', which is different than writing articles or 'social media writing'....those two aren't theraputic.
Therapy is writing for self, and knowing how.
Writing for self releases energy, like exercising, and allows you to clear mind and make room for new stuff.
Allows you to not go to work, or drive around, with 'stuff' in your head, and makes you less anxious.
Because when you write, you know that what you needed to express or say has been done, it's out there.
Every 'post' is almost like giving birth to a child, a small part of your DNA, that will live on, with it's own distinct personality and purpose.

Dancing does indeed keep you fit, healthy and young Dancing does indeed keep you fit, healthy and young, if you're older and to stiff to dance, than you've done something wrong or have been doing something wrong. Person in image is 50, how many 50 year olds do you know can grove like that, other than Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones..lol. For real though, a good way to stay fit is to dance, and it's a good way to stop being so serious, some people serious their ways right into the grave, where worms await them. Not here, here laughter and joy is life. Now get off your azz and dance.

Friends, feedback, adoration and more does help keep you healthy and does indeed inspire you to do more
Having friends, who then give you positive feedback, which then inspires you to 'do more' does indeed keep you more healthy and happy.
Isolation has just the opposite effect.
I'm talk talking about self imposed isolation of a few days or weeks when just want to get away to focus on something or to heal, no, rather I'm talking about long term social isolation is not good for ones over all health.
Even in prisons, I've seen documentaries on hardcore felons who if left in isolation to long begin to lose it, totally melt down.
I've seen shows where even if prisoner at risk of harm, they'd rather face that harm, be around others who could be hostile to them, rather than spend months alone in a 8x10 cell.
Well one doesn't have to be in a physical 8x10 cell to feel the effects of isolation, there are many who are not behind bars, yet just as, if not more isolated than a prisoner, in that at least while in prison, you have other people checking up on you, but when not in prison, and alone and socially isolated, no one checks up on you, or even cares about your well being, can die at home and the only one who would notice is employer when fail to show up to work for a few days.
And even then it's not cause they care, but cause they need to know if should hire someone else.
When people ignore, thus isolate you, it's the same as them wishing you dead, it's the same as being gone and 'never here', and is why often those who are isolated tend to 'go out with a bang', cause it's there way of proving to the world, or those who ignored them 'See, yes I am here, and now you can't ignore me anymore'....as they carry out some violent mass suicide attack, we read about it often in the news.
And now they get to read that yes, they do matter, either from the grave or from a jail cell, either way, in their minds, they 'matter now'.
And are 'special' and the focus of attention, now the 'State' notices them, the penal system notices them, the Judge notices them, Attorney's notice them, the victims family's now notice them, reporters now notice them and so forth.
To a lonely isolated person, all that is simply like family and friends finally paying attention to them.
And to them, their life was already ruined, but now it's ruined with 'attention'.

At a Big Mac today and wow, it kind of messed me up for a while
I don't want to bad talk McDonalds, I really just don't, but what I will say is because I'm so use to eating way more healthier food than is served at McDonalds, today when I ate a Big Mac along with some chicken nuggets, it just kind of messed me up for a while, as in swollen glands in back of throat ect, when I woke up.
I mean for the life of me, literally, I'm not sure how people live off of McDonalds food, or any fast food type of stuff, yet where I stay, as probably all over, drive thru always packed with cars, urban Mothers and more, but heck the other day even Sean Hannity who's worth $250 million dollars, was telling his female producer 'Linda' to take her 5 year old to McDonalds and get a 'Happy meal'...why?
I mean after today, if I had a kid, the last thing I'd do is allow them to eat that food.
But again, maybe it's just me, my unique body, diet, in that usually eating celery sticks and almond nuts and just healthier stuff, so I guess that Big Mac was just a shock to body, and whatever else preservatives they add to it, chemicals ect.
I just know I won't be doing that any time again soon.
You gotta take care of your health or you, I, we, they, really just have nothing else to live for, if not healthy, cause our bodies are the whole sum of who we are..when our bodies go, so do we.

When able to just sleep all day, that means to me you 'have something', and no, I don't mean the 'c' thing.
People seem to forget everyone was still getting sick, and better, long before the 'c' scare came around.
There's still all sorts of 'bugs' that didn't go away just cause 'c' virus scare hit the scene.
But now, most brainwashed to think that it's either the 'c' virus or nothing, and that's totally illogical.
There's still a ton of ways to get sick, as in bacteria in under cooked or spoiled food, remember 'food poisoning'?..
There's still common strains of the cold, flue's, and other stuff I'd need a medical book to identify.
That aside, when able to sleep deeply and dream deeply all day long, that usually means your body is fighting off a 'bug'.
