I tell you what, I haven't hit the dumbells in a while, and it shows, amazing how quickly muscle mass and strength can decline when stop working out regularly. Last night got swept up in watching old Mike Tyson videos, and it kind of re inspired me to take my fitness more seriously. I mean I'll never be no Mike Tyson, even Mike Tyson can never be the old Mike Tyson again, but still, being fit at any age really does give us an advantage.

I haven't been to a public gym since, well, for decades
Not sure why, maybe cause I'm not the biggest or baddest anymore, not that I ever was.
I'm tall and lean, and have a slender clean build, hardly anything to show off.
I here gyms are where a lot of closet gay guys go to check out other guys, not sure about women.
Plus, I know the gyms here, I know they'll be filled with people I don't really find attractive.
I don't know, I just don't have the desire to workout publically, maybe if had a training partner I would.

Can't believe 'work out' came up on my to do list.
I just roll dice next to each thing to do, and which ever gets the highest roll, I do. And 'workout' got the highest roll in this last round...darn, darn, that's the last thing on my mind right now.
My mood to workout could not be any further from me right now.

⬆️⬆️⬆️ continued from above
I will workout, sure, after I first lay back and relax for a bit and watch some streaming movies, or part of them.

I think it's OK to just 'rest' sometimes, even all day, without feeling guilty about it, especially when coming off of a long cycle of work.

Even though been drinking more beer again, than I should, I notice the weight I use to get from drinking is not coming back; and that's probably because I've made some other changes to my diet.
Before, like when out and about at work, I was stuffing face with all sorts of 'death foods', like sugary drinks, chips, pizza slices, cheese ect..but I've cut all that out, so now I notice when I do drink, the weight gain no longer accompanies the bottle or can.

Also, I can't believe folks still swallow pills? Why? If it's a gel pill, as in fish oil or krill oil, I chew it, the swaller. And even if it's vitman D or some other chalk tasting bill, I chew it, then swallow, for better all around absorbtion, could care the less about the taste.

Yes, I continue to lose weight, even though been drinking a bit again, and I find that amazing. It means it was other dietary habits i had that was effecting my weight gain, and not just the beer. I'm now able to wear shorts again, that I havent been able to wear in years...wow.

The brain is such a delicate thing
The brain is such a delicate thing, a part of longevity is realizing that. A big part of longevity is not abusing your own brain with too much 'input'.
A part of longevity is just knowing when to 'stop' for the day, and give your brain a rest.
A lot of times you, I, we, see older crusty types on the streets, hobos, ect, yet they're still alive...why? Cause they don't stress out there brains!
Yet, we also see people in their 20's, 30's, 40's, die so young, why?...cause they stressed out their brains!
So goes your brain so goes your body, your heart, ect.
Stress is no good for ya.
No when to just stop for the day and just play, or relax, your brain will thank you for it.
